Yarn 'n Yarn - meets on alternate Wednesday afternoons from 2.00 p.m. - 4.00 p.m. in the Church Hall to offer ... any ladies of our Churches or those in the wider community to come together to pursue their interests in craftwork - namely knitting, crochet, sewing, etc. as well as offering companionship and motivation to those who are lonely and widowed. We knit, we sew, we chat, we enjoy a cup of tea and all work i.e. blankets, garments etc. that are produced are given to those in need, either to hospitals and charities at home, or mission fields abroad. Our meeting concludes in Prayer.
We warmly welcome all women to join with us for P.W. ...Our aim is to encourage the spiritual growth of women, through reading Gods word, prayer, and encouraging one another.
We also support mission both at home and overseas.
We commence with a church service in September.
We meet the second Monday of each month October to March (inclusive) at 8pm in the Smyth Hall.
Our meetings are interesting and varied eg Missionary speakers, Testimonies, Crafts and much more. Closing with prayer, a cup of tea and chat.
Each year we have a theme, our theme this year is “Side by Side”

Junior Youth Cluv - Runs 2nd & 4th Friday night each month during term-time, the club has a committed group of leaders ...and is open to all young people primary school age. Our aim is to provide a safe, warm & caring environment, with a Christian ethos.
Busy Bees - Meets on a Tuesday morning during term time, from 9.30 to 11.45 in the Smyth Hall. ...It is an informal group which brings together parents / carers and children in the local community. It is a great way for parents and carers to meet with other adults for a chat while their children play in a safe environment. We have on average between 20 and 25 children aged between 0 and 4 every week. There is a range of toys available for the children to play with and they also get a healthy snack. We finish off each week with a story and a few songs.
Ballyreagh Ladies Guild aims to bring together women, of all ages, in the congregation, encouraging one another to live for Jesus....We meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month (Sept – April). We try to promote friendship with each other, spiritual growth and maturity and an interest in local and global mission. Some of our meetings we don’t have visiting speakers, but use the talents of our own church members. Sometimes we have a guest speaker sharing about how Christ has changed their life, or we learn about missionary work at home or overseas. Our meetings are usually informal and there is always an opportunity for chat over supper.
Walk 4 Life (Mondays during May / June) Meets at Ballyreagh at 7.00pm, ...for those who enjoy a walk of approximately 2 miles, this is for you. We walk a loop round local side-roads, or use forest parks e.g. Glenmore or Parkanaur. Everyone walks at their own speed, but we meet back at Ballyreagh church for a short ‘thought for the evening’ from God’s Word. We finish with fresh fruit salad and an opportunity to have a chat with the people we haven’t talked to during the walk. Everyone in the community is welcome.
L.O.G. This is a group of ordinary gents trying to navigate life and its challenges together. ...We try to meet up a Friday night a month for food, craic and to see what God has to say to us about life. Open to men in 18s-30s
Meta The Greek word Meta means after, often in churches we have many ...things for youth but nothing after youth. This group is a young adults bible study group that happens 1 Wednesday a month. It is open to any person 18s-30s to study more of God’s word together and to continue to grow as Christians.
Eternal Youth- Is a Senior citizen’s club that meets every Thursday in Ballygawley Smyth Hall. ... It aims to provide friendship, comfort and encouragement to the senior citizens of the local community, in safe environment with a Christian Ethos. Through activites (such as indoor bowls & checkers), a light bite to eat and a brief thought from a speaker, we welcome all in our local community.
Our Sunday school runs in Ballygawley from 10:45- 11.45 before Church ... and seeks to teach and nurture children in the Christian faith. We enjoy, singing, and stories from the bible from pre-school to year 14. Sunday school in Ballyreagh now runs during church (10.30am). It seeks to share with and teach Children about Jesus through craft, songs and bible lessons.
I.C.E is our church youth fellowship. It meets on Sunday nights in Ballygawley Smyth Hall ... (upper room) @ 8pm. We explore the bible and other topics relating to God as we seek to grow in our knowledge and understanding of God and we journey with Jesus. Open to all year 8 upwards.
Junior Christian Endeavour is an organisation within our Church for boys and girls ... of primary school age. It was originally formed to encourage young people to take part in a meeting in some way, however small, through prayer, Bible reading, and to encourage them to grow in their Christian faith. We meet alternate Tuesday evening from 6.45pm to 8.00pm, September to May with between 25 and 35 children. We start each evening off with some games as the boys and girls gather. Our meeting begins by chorus singing, Bible reading and opening prayer. We teach a Bible or Missionary story, learn Bible Verses, have sword drill, chain prayer and quizzes. The children also take part in CE Union competitions, the Union Fun Day and the CE Convention. We collect brown money and organise a coffee morning to gather funds for our missionary project. We finish off our year with a Parents & Friends Evening & bar-be-que.
Senior Youth Club - Runs 1st & 3rd Friday night each month during term-time, the club has a committed group of leaders and is open ... to all young people of year 8+. Our aim is to provide a safe, warm & caring environment, with a Christian ethos. We provide a wide range of activities including football, badminton, Uni-hoc. The club has a lot of equipment including a pool/ air hockey table, table tennis, PS4, Xbox and soft target archery. We normally have a yearly “outing”, which is enjoyed by all. Every evening concludes with an Epilogue, or thought, brought by a guest from the churches.
